What You’ll Be Doing

New Hire Onboarding: Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including data uploads from ATS to HRIS, pre-employment screenings, I9 verifications, and internal/external communications.

HR Support: Handle employment verification requests (VOE), unemployment claims, benefits confirmations, and Tier 1 benefits inquiries via the People Inbox.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams like Recruiting, IT, and Employee Experience to ensure seamless onboarding and administrative processes.

Process Improvement: Audit and refine onboarding workflows, create canned responses for repetitive questions, and develop self-service resources.

Compliance & Administration: Ensure adherence to employment laws and maintain accurate employee records while handling sensitive information with confidentiality.

Compensation: $65,000–$80,000/year + stock options (based on experience and market indicators).

Basic knowledge of employment law and compliance.

High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Confidence navigating HR tools and systems to resolve issues.

Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

90-Day Plan

First 30 Days:

Fully manage the pre-employment process for new hires, including background checks, drug tests, and I9 verifications.

Build relationships with onboarding stakeholders and become the go-to expert for the New Hire Checklist.

First 60 Days:

Handle Tier 1 benefits inquiries and organize canned responses for repetitive questions.

Audit and improve onboarding communications with cross-functional partners.

90 Days & Beyond:

Own the People Team’s Workvivo page and collaborate with Internal Communications on recurring benefit updates.

Become proficient in Rippling for data management and Tier 1 issue resolution.
