Title: Associate, Business Analyst – Models Infrastructure, Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS)

BlackRock’s Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS) team is at the forefront of portfolio construction, asset allocation, and active management. With over $2 trillion in assets under management, MASS delivers innovative investment strategies across global markets. The Models Infrastructure team ensures scalable platforms, robust governance, and seamless client experiences for Model Portfolios.
They're expanding their team to accelerate key initiatives that drive business growth. In this role, you’ll evaluate processes, propose solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver impactful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business needs and translate findings into actionable requirements.
- Become a subject matter expert on Model Portfolios, including investment strategies and operating platforms.
- Prepare clear and compelling materials to communicate progress, recommendations, and outcomes.
- Design and oversee governance processes to ensure infrastructure strength.
- Support project planning and delivery to meet objectives and timelines.
- Provide daily operational support (20% of role), including onboarding, rebalancing, and process oversight.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of experience in business process analysis, preferably in asset management or financial services.
- Strong understanding of financial markets, including fixed income, equities, and alternatives.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, and Tableau; familiarity with Aladdin is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Experience working independently and collaboratively in a global environment.
