What You’ll Do

  • Patient Support: Resolve 30–35 inbound calls daily from patients, providers, and health plans, addressing billing inquiries and financial responsibilities.
  • Billing Expertise: Explain benefits, process payments, and offer financial assistance options (e.g., payment plans).
  • Problem-Solving: Navigate dual monitors and multiple applications to troubleshoot billing issues, escalating complex cases as needed.
  • Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA/PHI policies and meet performance goals in call quality, attendance, and adherence.

Requirements

  • Education: High school diploma or GED (required).
  • Experience:
    • 1+ years in customer service (call center environment).
    • 1+ years in healthcare/medical billing (preferred).
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, dual monitor navigation, and data entry (30+ WPM).
    • Strong empathy, active listening, and problem-solving abilities.

Schedule & Training

  • Training Period: 4–6 weeks (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST).
  • Post-Training Shift: Mon–Fri, 9:30 AM–6:00 PM EST.
